Training Event (face to face)

This one day training event will be packed with theory and practical ideas to inspire and motivate your team to take the learning outdoors and will provide practitioners with a toolbox of resources to use in their settings.

Participants will be invited to get muddy and messy as they try a range of fun creative activities and by the end of the day they will have a takeaway plan and toolkit for their own setting.

As an outdoor nursery, operating from a small woodland on the outskirts of Portslade, we love to play outdoors, rain or shine. We always get asked is, ‘What do you do when it rains?’ which has inspired this training.

Since the pandemic more and more early years settings have beeen moving their provision outside and seeing the rich potential of outdoor play for learning.

At this traiing we will share exactly what we ‘do when it rains’ and share tips and advice to make the most of every outdoor space and every weather.
